3 months!

Audrey & Cory a few days after we brought her home~she looks so tiny!

Audrey turned 3 months on Saturday and it amazes me how quickly time passes. She has changed so much since we brought her home. Yesterday she giggled for the first time! We were playing peek-a-boo and she burst into a giggle. She giggled again this morning for Cory. She is definitely a morning person (just like Mommy). She is her most alert and gives us a thousand toothless grins each morning~ I love it! She has also become more vocal in the past few days. She coos and babbles all day. Our little sweet pea is growing up so fast!

Time for Tea

Audrey and I had a very busy day. We met the ladies from our Calvary family for lunch at the Tea Room inside Lone Star Antiques. We had a great time visiting with everyone and the food was delicious!

After lunch Audrey and I went to see my friend Catherine and her 6 month old daughter Elise. These pictures show just how fast our 3 month old chunky monkey is growing~she already out weighs Elise by 2 lbs!

All Clear!!!!

As many of you know, Audrey had a urinary tract infection. Sounds fun right? After 5 weeks of doctor visits, trips to the children's hospital, a variety of tests, and antibiotics she has been given the all clear. Yea!!!! The pharmacist and I were on a first name basis with all the medication she had to take.



This picture is from Audrey's last test at the children's hospital. They inserted contrast into her bladder via a catheter and took x-rays as she emptied her bladder. There was a point...they were testing for reflux ( this occurs when urine moves up into the kidneys). She does not have reflux and her UTI is gone :)

Pretty as a Picture

My friend Kirsi is interested in photography and came over last week to take some shots of Audrey. Here are a few that she sent me already. Audrey was a little fussy towards the end of the "session" so who knows how the rest of the pictures will turn out but I am excited to see them.

Audrey's 1st Vacation

We spent 4th of July at the Jersey Shore introducing Audrey to the Maginn clan (my Mom's side of the family). She is just like her momma and loved the beach. She even tested out the water!
